Invisalign First® and Invisalign Teen® Treatments in Chelmsford

What is Invisalign First®?

Invisalign First® is an advanced type of clear, removable orthodontic aligner that is specifically designed for young children in the early stages of orthodontic treatment. While similar to traditional Invisalign, it’s specifically tailored to the unique needs of growing mouths and teeth.

It can be used to correct a wide range of orthodontic issues, such as crowding, bite problems, and spacing issues. Invisalign First® can also be used in conjunction with other forms of orthodontic treatment, such as traditional braces.

What is Invisalign Teen®?

Invisalign Teen®, on the other hand, is a special form of Invisalign treatment made specifically for teenagers. It has additional features that accommodate the unique needs of adolescent patients. These features include compliance indicators to show when the aligners have been worn enough, and replacement aligners in case the patient loses or damages their current set.

Invisalign Teen® clear aligners are made from a smooth, removable, clear-plastic material that is incredibly discreet. This freedom and flexibility means your teenager can smile confidently, take lots of selfies, clean their teeth more easily and eat their favourite foods – without worrying about their braces getting in the way.

The Dental Abode’s Approach

Whether you’re seeking Invisalign First® or Invisalign Teen® for your child, all our treatments begin with a consultation with one of our experienced orthodontists at our friendly practice in Chelmsford. Here they will assess your children’s teeth and determine if Invisalign is the right option. Our orthodontist will then take impressions or a 3D scan of your children’s teeth, which will be used to create their first set of custom aligners.

Throughout the course of your child’s treatment, they will need to visit our practice every four to six weeks so that we can monitor their progress and give them their next set of aligners. The average treatment time is around 12-18 months, but this will depend entirely on each case.

Prices start at £2775
