Dr Anthony Lam

Dr Anthony Lam is an internationally recognised Specialist Orthodontist. He is a former clinical teacher in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, and a member of a number of local and international Orthodontic Societies.

He qualified as a dentist at the University of Melbourne and then gained an MSc in Orthodontics at the University of London. He was awarded the Professor Philip Walther Prize for outstanding performance as part of his MSc and obtained membership of The Royal College of Surgeons upon qualification. Since then, he has worked in private orthodontic practices in the South East region.

His main areas of interest are invisible cosmetic orthodontic braces including the Incognito Lingual appliances, Invisalign, Ceramic and Damon System appliances.

He is a Diamond Apex Invisalign Provider and was invited to treat the winner of the UK wide competition “Invisalign Changed my Life”. With his knowledge and experience, we are able to truly tailor your treatment, quickly and discreetly.

Dr Nadyn Hemami

Associate Dentist

Nadyn qualified as a dentist from the University of Valencia in 2010 and has completed an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick in 2021 with Merit.

Nadyn enjoys providing high quality dentistry to all her patients in a calmed and friendly manner. She has a special interest in orthodontics where she offers fixed and Invisalign, and also cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym, trying new healthy recipes and travelling.

Kirsty Goodchild

Dental Hygienist

Kirsty qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Kings College London in 2008 and has been working in general practices ever since with just a short break in 2018.

Having had additional training in the cleaning and maintenance of implants, Kirsty aims to provide the best clean possible in the best way possible for each patient. She sees it as her role to help each patient handle those tricky to clean areas.

In her spare time Kirsty likes to get outdoors and keep fit with walking and running. She appreciates both the peace of the countryside and the busyness of the city but her favourite place would be a sandy beach whether it be a windy British one or somewhere warm and tropical.

Iustina Duma-Trunchi

Head Dental Nurse

Iustina qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2018 and was awarded the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing.

She is also qualified in Dental Radiography and Oral Health Education.

Iustina loves working with children and the next step her in her career is to become an Orthodontic Therapist, learn more about Orthodontics and help people achieve a perfect smile.

She is a coffee lover, likes cycling, long walks and dancing.

Rhodalyn Delfin

Trainee Dental Nurse

Lyn is our Trainee Dental Nurse and she is very keen to get her qualification in Dental Nursing to improve the quality of dental service she provides in the practice.

She studied physiotherapy in her home country in the Philippines. She had four years of experience being a Dental Assistant before she moved to the UK a year ago.

For her it is a great fulfilment having the opportunity to help other people maintain a good dental health.

During her free time, Lyn enjoys binge watching movies and TV series, but can also be found walking in green parks or in the woods, as being one with nature gives her beautiful serenity.

Stephanie Button

Receptionist

Steph has joined the team in April 2022 but has over 17 years of experience in dental reception. She is very excited about being part of the planned refurbishment of the practice and is looking forward to welcoming new and existing patients to The Dental Abode.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, fishing, walking, writing poetry and has had poems published but she mostly enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her biggest achievements, apart from her children and grandchildren, are qualifying as a chef and catching bigger fish than her husband.
